EOD personnel had to battle with death everyday due to the many bombings that happen almost daily in Southern Thailand and because Phra Luang Pu Thuad was believed to be one of the greatest amulets for protection, it's holy image was selected for this batch of amulets.
More than 500 pcs of holy yant sheets from various top monks in Thailand was collected as material for this batch of Phra Luang Pu Thuad. This batch of Phra Luang Pu Thuad was chanted 8 times at Wat Ban Rai, Wat Mon Tai(Lp Joy), Wat Nong Krub(Lp Sakorn), Wat Lahanyai(Lp Sin), Wat Huay Ngok(Lp Keow), Wat Pranupab(Lp Prom), Wat Kok Yeam(Lp Ead) and finally a mass chanting ceremony held at Wat Puthaisawan(Ac Chote) and attended by many famous gurus such as Wat Pradu(Lp Maha Surasak), Wat Ban Paen(Lp Poon) and many more. Only a very limited amount was produced and it was not made public. Some were given to EOD personnel and part of it were available for purchase only by EOD personnel.
